Anushka Sharon is an actress and Bollywood actress and producer. She was among the top-paid actors and has won many awards for her performances. Anushka Sharma was born on May 1, 1988 in Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh. Her parents were Kumar Sharma & Ashima Sharma. Anushka Sharma's father is an ex-colonel. and her mother works as a housewife. Anushka began to audition for film roles and joined an acting academy alongside her career as models. Anushka began her career as an actor in the year 2008 on Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, opposite Shah Rukh Khan. In order to prepare for the screen-test, Anushka Sharma took a full day. She was later signed to three films with Yash Raj Films. The film in which she appeared played a young woman who got married to a middle-aged man (the role Shah Rukh Khan is playing). The film was hit on the box office and was the second-highest-grossing movie of 2008. Anushka played Shahid Kapoor Meiyang Chang and Vir Das in the movie Badmash Company. The movie received mixed praises. In the same year, Anushka Sharma appeared in the film "Band Baaja Baaraat' along with Ranveer Singh, in which she played the role of a middle-class Punjabi girl who launches her own wedding planning business. The film was praised by critics and was deemed a sleeper to be a success. Anushka's three-film deal with Yash Raj Films ended with Band Baaja Baraat.
